NOTICE:

Unfortunately, ASUG is now defunct. The last meeting was May 1999.

If you have any interest in reviving the group and can volunteer time, please join the asug-admin@cc.gatech.edu email list and start some discussion. Send a request to randy@cc.gatech.edu to join the asug-admin discussion list.

The Atlanta Silicon Graphics User's Group (ASUG) was a volunteer-run organization that met several times a year to share ideas and talk about experiences with Silicon Graphics hardware and software. The meetings involved visualization and general UNIX and NT topics. We didn't elect officers, impose dues or charge cover.

ASUG was populated with professionals from around the Southeast and from a wide spectrum of commercial and non-commercial institutions. The meetings provided excellent opportunities for people to share their experiences and techniques with others, express their interests and concerns to Silicon Graphics, and pick up bits of information worthy of taking back to work.
