Christina

I am a Ph.D. student in the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech's College of Computing. I have been exploring various research projects with Professors Charles Isbell and Ashwin Ram. Loosely speaking, my research interests are in Artificial Intelligence and Multiagent Systems. More specifically, I care about developing techniques for making dialogue between humans and virtual characters more believable. I am focusing my research efforts on natural language generation for believable characters in interactive narrative. Currently, I am looking at the intereaction among personalities, goals, agendas, and emotions; and how these aspects effect what someone says and how he/she says it. Ideally, the results of this research will enable more natural communication between humans and computers for various purposes including entertainment and education.
