Welcome to my homepage!
My name is Younggyun Koh. You can pronounce my first name as young-gyoon or you can just call me Young as others do.
I'm a PhD student in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech, working with my academic advisor, Dr. Calton Pu. I came to US as a Master's student at Georgia Tech in 2001, and decided to pursue the PhD degree after I got the Master's in 2003. I received my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Korea in 1997.
Research Interests
My research focuses on performance analysis and optimization of operating systems particularly in virtualized environments. But, I'm also interested in computer network, distributed systems, ubiquitous computing, and high-performance computing.
